CLEAR INFORMATION. CONSIDERED GIVING.

Your trust matters.

Policy review version. These pages describe the intended donation service. Organisation-specific policies and contacts require approval before live fundraising opens.

Donation terms

The founding appeal goal is $500,000 USD. Contributions are gifts, with no financial return or ownership offered. No tax-deductibility claim is made. Before checkout opens, review the selected campaign’s activities, beneficiaries, eligibility, budget, timeline and reporting schedule.

Your designation is recorded with your donation. A named programme must be open for giving; giving to the founding fund allows the allocation stated in that fund’s published terms.

Refunds & reallocations

Campaign-specific rules must explain underfunding, excess funds and delivery becoming impossible. Do not assume funds can be moved to a different purpose without the stated process.

AfriRise’s approved refund and reallocation policy and response timelines are awaiting publication. No universal refund promise is made on this review site.

Monthly giving & cancellation

Monthly giving must be explicitly selected and authorised. The selected amount is denominated in USD and repeats monthly until cancellation takes effect.

The campaign must publish a working cancellation contact and timing rules before monthly giving opens. The request form can submit a cancellation request once connected, but submitting it does not itself cancel a Bachs subscription. Staff must confirm completion.

Privacy

Donor details are used to arrange payment, maintain financial records, provide donation acknowledgements and handle support. Optional newsletter consent is separate. Public anonymity does not remove private accounting records.

Bachs handles card entry on its hosted checkout. Supabase is the intended database and authentication provider. Administrator access is restricted by role and MFA. Approved retention periods, international-transfer safeguards, the controller’s full legal identity and rights contact must be published before collection begins.

Safeguarding & storytelling

Private participant records must remain separate from public stories. The system does not provide public beneficiary case files or publish children’s precise locations or documents.

Photographs and stories require an appropriate consent and safeguarding review. Identifiable participant content requires a separate reviewer and a consent reference before approval. AfriRise’s complete safeguarding policy and reporting contact are awaiting publication.

Complaints & privacy requests

Use the support form to raise a privacy request, complaint or recurring cancellation request after the backend is connected. Avoid attaching identity documents or medical information.

AfriRise must publish its official contact and response targets. This review site does not invent contact details or promise an unapproved response time.
